THE EMPIRICAL DATA IS AVAILABLE, CURRENT AND CORE TO OUR MISSION. STUDIES INCLUDE THE ANNENBERG REPORT, OTIS REPORT AND OUR REAL LIFE SHARED EXPERIENCES.

 

THE BLACK DOLLAR INDEX (BDI) WILL BE OUR PRIMARY METHODOLOGY TO GUIDE COMPANIES, RANK THEM, INSTITUTE ACCOUNTABILITY AND TO GENERATE DATA BASED REPORTING.

 

WE AGREE TO IDENTIFY, ADDRESS AND HELP TO RESOLVE CORPORATE RESPONSES DEEMED SYMBOLIC, COSMETIC, INSUBSTANTIAL AND INCREMENTAL TO REAL CHANGE.

 

WE WILL COLLABORATE ON A SET OF PATHWAYS FOR HIRING, MENTORING, EDUCATION, MANAGEMENT, BOARD AND ADVISORY SILOS.

 

ESTABLISH INDUSTRY AND/OR COMPANY “SAFE” SECTORS WHERE ISSUES OF RACE CAN BE DISCUSSED, HEARD AND RESOLVED BY RECEPTIVE DESIGNEES WITHOUT FEAR OF REPRISAL.

WHAT IS UNITY GAIN?
An organization created to advocate for more Black and underrepresented groups participation in the audio industry.

 

WHY IS UNITY GAIN NECESSARY?
The 21 billion dollar audio industry has a very large Black customer base and less than 15 African Americans have senior management, green light and budgeting authority. A travesty. 

 

HOW WILL UNITY GAIN ADDRESS THE ISSUES?
By creating an accountability model, supported by data, along with a talent bank, advisory and an education portal.

Unity Gain Corp is a 501 C3 registered in the state of Delaware.

 

WHAT KIND OF CORPORATE PARTNERS WOULD JOIN UNITY GAIN?          Audio and Music manufacturers, audio industry organization, music organizations, software companies, schools, non-profits, studio’s and any companies that utilize audio and music.

 

WHO WILL ADMINISTRATE UNITY GAIN? 
Unity Gain will be led by Executive Director with non-profit and music expertise along with a lean team of co-workers and interns from our database.

 

HOW WILL UNITY GAIN FUND ITSELF?
